Frequently Asked Questions About Exfoliation

How to get the best use of your products (and the softest lips)

Scrubs: FAQ

What does a Lip Scrub do?

A Lip Scrub works to physically exfoliate your lips, meaning that it works to remove dead skin and leave your lips feeling soft and smooth. It helps to improve both the feeling and appearance of your lips.

You can use a Lip Scrub during your skin care routine before bed or before applying your favourite Nadica's Naturals Lipstick for a smoother application.

How do I use a Lip Scrub?

With dry hands, take out a small amount of product and gently rub it on your lips. If you're not sure how much pressure to apply, rub your lips with the pressure of your pinky. If the product has hardened, warm a little bit in your hands for a smoother application prior to use. When you're done, rinse off the product from your lips, then apply a Nadica's Naturals Lip Balm to seal in the moisture. And that's it!

How often should I exfoliate?

I would recommend exfoliating about 1-2 times a week. Physical exfoliants such as sugar (which is featured in all Nadica's Naturals Lip Scrubs) can be abrasive if used too often. Limiting your exfoliation to 1-2 times a week (or before a big night out) will help you maintain soft, plump lips.
